Neela can’t imagine life without travel. Having been fortunate to travel from a young age, the travel bug truly took hold in her early twenties, which included an overseas experience in London for two years. With 20 years spent in the travel industry, working in both corporate and boutique offices, she took the last four years off to become a full-time ‘home executive’ (aka Mum). With a young son now settled into a school routine, Neela made the transition back into the travel industry.
A few highlight trips over the years include wandering through the colourful souks of Marrakech, Morocco; spending a white Christmas in Chamonix Mont-Blanc, France; hiking the Cinque Terre in Italy; standing in awe atop the Great Wall of China; honeymooning in The Maldives; exploring the ruins of Machu Picchu, Peru; sailing along the River Nile on a felucca in Egypt; strolling through the quaint alleyways in the Gion district of Kyoto, Japan; and, in recent years, transitioning into the new adventure of family travel, with Laos marking the beginning of this exciting chapter.
Outside of work and farm life, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, escaping with a good book in hand, and cheering on the young ones down at the hockey turf.
