After breakfast we travel to Hahndorf with free time to explore this quaint German style village. We return to Adelaide with free time this afternoon to further explore the city or the vibrant seaside suburb of Glenelg.

After breakfast travel to the Barossa Valley for sightseeing including a winery lunch. Return to the city late afternoon with the remainder of the afternoon free.

Continue your journey aboard The Ghan making a sunrise stop in Marla, an Australian outback post, before continuing onto Alice Springs - the heart of the Red Centre. Arrive in Katherine, home of the stunning Katherine Gorge and rich indigenous history. A cruise along the jaw-dropping Nitmiluk Gorge or time with the local Aboriginal people are part of the wide range of options today. Arrive in Darwin early evening.

An early morning start for the drive to Litchfield National Park. The gorgeous, historical town of Batchelor is the gateway to Litchfield National Park.
